Dünya bilimkurgu topluluğunun en prestijli onuru olarak kabul edilen ve her yıl edebiyattan beyaz perdeye kadar geniş bir yelpazede en iyi eserleri taçlandıran 2026 Hugo Ödülleri için geri sayım resmen başladı.
84. Dünya Bilimkurgu Konvansiyonu (WorldCon) olan LAcon V organizatörleri, bu senenin finalistlerini duyurarak merakla beklenen listeyi kamuoyuyla paylaştı. 2025 ve 2026 WorldCon üyelerinin katılımıyla meydana gelen oylama sürecinde, 4.299 değişik yapıt ve şahıs için toplam 23.543 adaylık başvurusu yapılmış oldu.
Ödüller, 30 Ağustos 2026’da Kaliforniya, Anaheim’da takdim edilecek.
